Welcome to the online home of Peter Burnett Elementary School. Located in the Hollyglen area of the City of Hawthorne, CA, Burnett is the proud home of the Burnett Bulldogs.

Our Vision: "Peter Burnett is a place where students, staff, and community members engage collaboratively in equal learning opportunities, reflecting a well-rounded curriculum, positive values, and a problem solving mindset, which results in personal best, school spirit, and a firm foundation for life-long learning."

September 8 & 9 (Minimum Days)
All Grades.................................................................. 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

September 10 – 17 (Shortened Days)
All Grades................................................................... 8:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m.

REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS
Beginning September 20
3rd Grade Early Birds.................................................... 8:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m.
3rd Grade Later Gators................................................. 9:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
4th and 5th Grades:....................................................... 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE
Every Wednesday beginning September 22
All Grades.................................................................... 8:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m.

CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Classroom assignments will be posted on September 7 after 5:00 p.m.
